It's about time, but it's still too late.

It has been painfully obvious that John McCain has been strong armed into an increasingly negative - downright nasty - campaign, and today he finally took a stand against the fear and misinformation that his own campaign has been propagating.

I disagree with the man about pretty much everything, and I don't particularly trust his potential for leadership, but I have always been under the impression that he's a person with a certain standard of integrity. The last couple weeks have challenged that impression, and it makes me happy to see that he's taking a stand (even if the rest of his campaign isn't giving up the vitriol that quickly).
